Myriam officially became Dr. McKenna when she successfully defended her PhD thesis last week! Her thesis focused on her past 5 years of research with the group, which included studies on the group’s OrgChem101 module; how delocalization is taught, practiced, and assessed; and students’ achievement of delocalization learning outcomes. Myriam is also the first PhD graduate from our group and was a great leader, mentor, educator, and friend to everyone who has been a part of our group. Congratulations, Myriam! We’ll miss you!
We wish Myriam all the best in her new role at the University of New Brunswick!
