The group gave three presentations at the Gordon Research Conference, Chemistry Education Research and Practice. Myriam and Keith presented posters, while Alison was invited to give a talk about the group’s work. The Gordon Research Conference, Chemistry Education Research and Practice was held from Sunday June 16th to Friday June 21st.
This year’s conference, themed “Using Education Research to Foster Meaningful Chemistry Learning” , contained a great set of speakers from multiple fields of discipline-based education research, great discussion amongst colleagues, lots of dancing, lobster and…. tertiles!
Great conversation with members of the CER community from all around the globe!
A beautiful view at Bates College in Lewiston, ME!
Tertiles seemed to be on everyone’s mind all week!
But really, when do I use a tertile??
Celebrating the end of a great week with a lobster dinner, dancing, and ping-pong!
Keith, Myriam and Alison ready for the lobster dinner!
